The Hakushu Distiller's Reserve was bottled by Shinji Fukuyo, the fourth Master Distiller, from specially selected casks. This single malt is a mix of less than 10-year-old whiskys from
ex-bourbon
casks, whiskys which were aged for at least 18 years in American white oak casks and young, heavily peated whiskys which matured for about 12 years in ex-bourbon casks.

Dieser Single Malt ist ein Mix aus weniger als 10 Jahre alten Whiskys aus ex- Bourbonfässern,
Whiskys welche mindestens 18 Jahre in amerikanischen Weißeichenfässern lagerten und jungen stark getorften Whiskys die ca. 12 Jahre in ex-Bourbonfässern reiften.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: vanilla, mint, cucumber, fruit, pear, grass and lemon peel.
- Palate: fruity, honey, vanilla, herbs, cucumber, mint, grapefruit and a hint of smoke.
- Finish: long lasting, furry, sweet with some smoke
