A fantastic Japanese blend made with aged malt and grain whiskies from Suntory's three distilleries. Spicy and sophisticated, it is perfect for standing out in blind tastings. Awarded Gold Editor's Choice by Whisky Magazine and won first prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010.

Ein fantastischer japanischer Blend, hergestellt mit gealterten Malz- und Getreide-Whiskys aus den drei Brennereien von Suntory. Würzig und raffiniert, eignet er sich hervorragend, um bei Blindverkostungen aufzufallen. Vom Whisky Magazine mit Gold als "Editor's Choice" ausgezeichnet und erhielt bei den World Whisky Awards 2010 den ersten Preis in seiner Kategorie.

Tasting Notes

Nose:

Ripe soft and pillow like with hints of smoke and toasty wood. Citrus leaf, cocoa, cooked apricot, ripe banana, hazelnut giving a crunch.
Palate:
Toffee sweetness stretches along the palate. Very clean and clear. Sweet with sultana and cherry.
Finish:
Long and silky.
Comment:
Relaxed and laid back. This is excellent blending.

Verkostungsnotiz

Nase:
Reif, weich und kissenartig mit Anklängen von Rauch und geröstetem Holz. Zitrusblatt, Kakao, gekochte Aprikose, reife Banane, Haselnuss, die einen Knacks gibt.
Gaumen:
Toffeesüße zieht sich entlang des Gaumens. Sehr sauber und klar. Süß mit Sultaninen und Kirsche
Abgang:
Lang und seidig
Kommentar:
Entspannt und gelassen. Dies ist ein exzellentes Blending
