New release of Aussie/Amis The Death Daisies in a Best Of.

Singer Glenn Hughes is already history with The Dead Daisies, who with his soul sound may not have been a perfect fit for the all-star rockers.

So his predecessor is also his successor Sleazer and ex-Mötley Crüe frontman John Corabi fits better into the troupe of Doug Aldrich (ex Whitesnake), David Lowy (ex INXS & only founding member), Brian Tichy (ex Foreigner) and Michael Devin (ex Whitesnake). Having rocked and rolled with the Daisies before, Corabi has now returned to the hard rock home port and all is right with the world again.

To celebrate, the debut, the return or whatever you want to call the closing of the rock circle, a hammer hard and harmonic "Best Of" is now released, which has it all.

On 20 songs The Dead Daisies show that they have the rock bow out, "no matter" who is singing. Cool more bluesy rockers with Corabi on the mic and groovers with Hughes on vocals loudly prove the quality of this formidable formation and their previous releases. The songs have heart and hardness as well as catchiness and soul.

A really very coherent and worthy compilation. The band is touring with the "prodigal son" Corabi and thanks to this "Best Of" they can really draw from the full.

Great compilation, great band and great concerts.

Sänger Glenn Hughes ist schon wieder Geschichte bei den The Dead Daisies der mit seinem Soulsound vielleicht doch nicht ganz perfekt zu den All-Star-Rockern gepasst hat.
So ist sein Vorgänger auch sein Nachfolger Sleazer und Ex-Mötley Crüe Frontmann John Corabi passt doch besser in die Truppe aus Doug Aldrich (Ex Whitesnake), David Lowy (Ex INXS & einziges Gründungsmitglied), Brian Tichy (Ex Foreigner) und Michael Devin (Ex Whitesnake).

Nachdem Corabi ja schon früher mit den Daisies gerockt und gerollt hat, ist er jetzt in den Hardrock-Heimhafen zurückgekehrt und die Welt ist wieder in Ordnung.

Zur Feier, zum Einstand, zur Wiederkehr oder wie auch immer man die Schließung des Rock-Kreises nennen will, wird jetzt eine hammerharte und harmonische „Best Of“ veröffentlicht, die es in sich hat.

Auf 20 Songs zeigen The Dead Daisies, dass sie den Rock-Bogen raus haben, „egal“ wer singt. Coole eher bluesige Rocker mit Corabi am Mikro und Groover mit Hughes am Gesang stellen die Qualität dieser formidablen Formation und ihrer bisherigen Releases lautstark unter Beweis.

Die Songs haben Herz und Härte sowie Eingängigkeit und Seele. Eine wirklich sehr stimmige und würdige Zusammenstellung. Getourt wird mit dem „verlorenen Sohn“ Corabi und dank dieser „Best Of“ kann da so richtig aus dem Vollen geschöpft werden.
