A blended malt full of character that refines fine Japanese and Scottish whisky in French wine casks.
Ein charaktervoller Blended Malt, der feinen japanischen und schottischen Whisky in französischen Weinfässern veredelt.
Tastingnotes:
Nose:
Strong red wine notes with oak spice and red berry fruits. Dark chocolate with cinnamon, nutmeg and clove spice. A wonderfully full bouquet.
Palade:
Complex fruity notes, which slowly crystallize into orange peel, stand on a base of chocolate with whole nuts and spicy notes of oak and a little pepper.
Departure:
Long lasting with many tannins from the red wine barrel and a hint of chocolate in the finish.
Nase:
Kräftige Rotweinnoten mit Eichenwürze und roten Beerenfrüchten. Dunkle Schokolade mit Zimt, Muskatnuss und Nelkengewürz. Ein wunderbar volles Bouquet.
Gaumen:
Komplexe Fruchtnoten, die sich langsam in Orangenschale herauskristallisieren lassen, stehen auf einem Sockel aus Schokolade mit ganzen Nüssen und würzigen Noten von Eiche und ein wenig Pfeffer.
Abgang:
Lang anhaltend mit vielen Tanninen aus dem Rotweinfass und einem Hauch von Schokolade im Abgang.
